Oromar and lobsters are inextricably linked. Oromar was one of the first companies in the Netherlands to start processing this product on a large scale in 1999.
Oromar has been innovative in its approach since its inception. Hence the idea to start processing lobsters. Because lobsters were not widely known when we were established (1999).
Oromar complies with prevailing food safety standards and is ISO 22000 certified. Oromar’s ISO 22000 certificate was guaranteed and issued by Intertek Moody Int. In addition, Oromar’s quality assurance system is monitored by Kwaliteitsdienst Urk. Meanwhile, we have taken further steps towards IFS Food certification.
