The Pacific redfish is a ray-finned fish from the genus Sebastes and therefore belongs to the order of scorpionfishes (Scorpaeniformes). The fish can get up to 51 centimeters long and 1400 grams heavy. The Pacific redfish is a saltwater fish. The fish prefers a deep-water climate and lives mainly in the Pacific Ocean.
